- Understand the challenges associated with acute and long-term treatment of acute coronary syndromes, including variability in platelet inhibition associated with clopidogrel.
- Describe the mechanistic differences between reversibly and irreversibly binding P2Y12 inhibitors and the potential implications of these differences for the treatment of acute coronary syndromes.
- Discuss the therapeutic challenges facing clinicians in the emergency room, the cath lab and in patients requiring coronary artery bypass surgery.
